Major is an upcoming Indian film based on the biography of the life of the 2008 Mumbai attacks martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film was first announced in February 2019. However, the shooting of this film began in February 2020. The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by the superstar actor of south cinema Mahesh Babu under the banner of Sony Pictures, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and A+S Movies. As per the resources, the shooting of this film was done in Telugu and Hindi and later dubbed into Malayalam.

At the time of the announcement of this film, the filmmakers also announced that Adivi Sesh will play the main lead role in this film. Adivi Sesh will play the role of martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Further, along with Adivi Sesh, Indian actress Sobhita Dhulipala will play the role of Pramoda, Saiee Manjrekar as Isha, Prakash Raj as K. Unnikrishnan, Revathi as Dhanalakshmi Unnikrishnan.
