6). Janmashtami:- Krishna Janmashtami or popularly known as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami. 5). Ganesh Chaturthi:- Ganesh Chaturthi is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi. It is the 11-day festival celebrated by the Hindus of India. Ganesh Chaturthi is the festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on Shukla Chaturthi of the Hindu month of Bhadra (generally falls between August and September) every year. On this occasion, people worship Lord Ganesha for removing the problems from their life. As Lord Ganesha is considered a “Vigna Harta” (One who remove obstacles/problem).

4). Durga Pooja:- Durga Pooja popularly known as Durgotsava. Durga Pooja is celebrated in India for the victory of Durga over the powerful buffalo demon Mahishasura, and her emerging victorious. Durga Pooja is major celebrated in Bengali, Odia, Maithili, and Assamese as a socio-cultural and religious festival. Furthermore, Durga Pooja is a 10-day festival that begins on the Sixth day of Ashwin Shukla paksha and ends on the Tenth day of Ashwina Shukla paksha every year.

3). Raksha Bandhan:- Raksha Bandhan is one of the most popular and traditional festivals in India. Raksha Bandhan is majorly celebrated by Hinduism, Sikhism, and Jainism. Raksha Bandhan is the festival to show or express the love of Brother and Sister. On this occasion, the sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s wrist and marks Tilak.
